The ultimate office workout

Just because you're stuck at a desk doesn't mean you can't work up a little sweat! 

Check out our ultimate office workout below. 



1. 20 seconds of quick feet on toes

Stand up with feet close together. Run as fast as you can for 20 seconds. Get those arms pumping along too!

2. 10 standing body twists

Stand up with feet about shoulder width apart. Keeping your back straight, chin up; twist your upper body around slowly until you feel a nice stretch. Hold the twist at your furthest point for approximately 2 seconds and slowly come back to your starting position. Repeat on the opposite side.

3. 10 squats

Stand up with feet shoulder width apart and toes pointed out just slightly. Keep your chin up, look straight ahead and keep your core tight. Squat down so your knees are at about 90degrees (a little lower if you can) and head back up to the starting position

4. 10 desk push ups

Make sure your desk is sturdy, and if on wheels that they are locked or its up against a wall. Stand up and place your hands on the desk a little wider than shoulder width apart. Slowly then walk your feet back so that you are on your toes, with arms straight. Slowly lower yourself down towards the desk into a push up position. Keep your core tight and back straight, and then push back up to the starting point.

5. 40 seated calf raises

Sit with feet close together flat on the floor. Rise up onto your toes and hold for 2 seconds whilst squeezing your calf muscles at the top.
